Nashville Predators Announce 2023 Rookie Camp

Hockey is getting closer! The Nashville Predators have announced the roster and schedule for the upcoming rookie camp and Southeast Rookie Showcase. Rookie Camp will kick off in Nashville with practice at Centennial Sportsplex on September 14th before heading to Estero, FL where the Predators will face off with the Tampa Bay Lightning, Florida Panthers and Carolina Hurricanes. Rookie Camp and the Rookie Showcase will give the coaching staff and fans a glimpse at a number of top prospects including forwards Joakim Kemell and Luke Evangelista, newly drafted defensemen Tanner Molendyk and Dylan MacKinnon plus goaltender Yaroslav Askarov. The Predators also will have to rookie camp invitees as part of the group heading to Florida.

Following the Southeast Rookie Showcase the Nashville Predators will start their full training camp, the first for Barry Trotz as GM and Andrew Brunette as head coach, on September 20th. The full schedule for rookie camp and the Southeast Rookie Showcase is below:

  • Thursday, Sept. 14, 10 a.m. – Practice, Centennial Sportsplex
  • Friday, Sept. 15, 3 p.m. – Predators vs. Lightning, Hertz Arena (Estero, Fla.)
  • Saturday, Sept. 16, 5 p.m. – Predators vs. Panthers, Hertz Arena (Estero, Fla.)
  • Sunday, Sept. 17 – Day off
  • Monday, Sept. 18, 9 a.m. – Predators vs. Hurricanes, Hertz Arena (Estero, Fla.)
