The Nashville Predators kicked off their inaugural rookie tournament Saturday evening at Ford Ice Center with a game against the rookies of the Tampa Bay Lightning. The tournament is the signature event to launch the grand opening of the new facility in Antioch, Tennessee. Other teams slated to play in the 2014 Rookie Tournament are the Boston Bruins and the Florida Panthers.
Below are highlights from the first game of the rookie tournament for the Nashville Predators. Included are post game thoughts from Jonathan-Ismael Diaby, Filip Forsberg and Colton Sissons. Of note, Sissons wore the “C” and served as captain for the rookies.
