The UAH Chargers showed a lot of fight to battle back into the game, but fell 4-3 at the hands of Lake Superior State. It was the WCHA opener for the Chargers. Freshman Tyr Thompson notched his first career goal while on the power play. Brandon Salerno and Connor James also scored for UAH.
