Turris helps Preds earn point in OT loss to Lightning

The Nashville Predators earned a point in a 3-2 overtime loss to the Tampa Bay Lightning Tuesday night. Both teams have underperformed this season, and maybe that’s why tensions seemed to flare to much in this game. It was chippy. Ryan Johansen received a major for elbowing along with a game misconduct. Luke Schenn and Austin Watson briefly dropped the gloves. Erik Cernak received only a minor for check to the head. It was a controversial night in regards to officiating.

Oh, and Kyle Turris returned to the lineup after being a healthy scratch for seven straight games. In his return, he notched a power play goal and assist. The goal tied the game, which forced overtime, helping the Predators earn a point.

Hear from Kyle Turris, Pekka Rinne and Roman Josi in the post game report.
