Special teams plays large role in Preds 3-1 win over Sharks

The Nashville Predators and San Jose Sharks are two teams trying to climb their way up the standings. Those frustrations came to a head in the second period of Tuesday night’s 3-1 win for Nashville. The two teams combined for 72 penalty minutes in the game. Nick Bonino opened the scoring early in the third, Ryan Johansen scored on the power play and the penalty kill was four for four. Goaltender Juuse Saros, while not challenged often in the game, made tremendous saves when needed, including a big stop on a penalty shot.
