Preds win with limited roster, Donovan makes Nashville debut

On a stressful trade deadline day, the Nashville Predators took down the Edmonton Oilers in a 3-2 shootout victory. Filip Forsberg and Brian Boyle notched goals in the shootout. In regulation, Colton Sissons and PK Subban scored. Matt Donovan made his Nashville Predators debut.

The Predators were down two forwards with them trading away Ryan Hartman and Kevin Fiala while Mikael Granlund and Wayne Simmonds were still on their way to Nashville meaning Matt Irwin played as a winger for part of the game and Donovan had an opportunity on the blue line.
