Following a three-game win streak, the first one since October, the Nashville Predators were unsuccessful in making it four in a row, falling to the Carolina Hurricanes 4-1 Tuesday night.

From the start, Nashville was outplayed by Carolina. The Predators were just slower overall, lost puck battles, didn’t forecheck the way they were capable of and then allowed the Hurricanes to have multiple high danger opportunities against goaltender Juuse Saros.

Nashville has two days off before heading to Chicago for a Friday night game and then back home in Nashville against Columbus Saturday night. Every point matters and the team still has games in hand, but consistency is continuing to be difficult to come by. Getting 3 of 4 points in the next two games would certainly help.
