Preds start strong, but collapse again to lose Game 5

After a first period that left many fans confident in the effort by the Nashville Predators, the team once again collapsed in the second period, allowing three straight Winnipeg goals en route to a 6-2 loss.

Nashville controlled the first period in regards to shots, scoring attempts and possession, but couldn’t capitalize on opportunities. As it’s been seen in previous games, whenever there was a lapse in judgement by the Predators, the Jets took full advantage of it. Kyle Connor notched two goals and tallied an assist, and Dustin Byfuglien scored the game winner. Goal scorers for the Predators were Yannick Weber and Ryan Johansen.
