With the 17th overall pick of the 2016 NHL Draft, the Nashville Predators selected defenseman Dante Fabbro of the Penticton Vees out of the British Columbia Hockey League.
While he is on the smaller end of defenseman, most scouts and especially the Nashville Predators are very high on his potential.
Dennis MacInnis, Director of Scouting for ISS Hockey had a very positive outlook on the young defenseman. “[He] exhibits the type of poise and composure with the puck that one would expect from a ten year veteran.”
Above, we break down the pick with Jeremy K. Gover of the Nashville Predators Radio Network that includes footage from Fabbro and Nashville Predators General Manager David Poile.
