Preds open divisional play with win over Stars

After a slow start to the game throughout the first period, that included not scoring on a five-minute man advantage, the Nashville Predators dominated the second and third periods en route to a 4-1 victory over the Dallas Stars.

Defenseman Samuel Girard, in just his second NHL game, notched his first NHL goal. He also tallied another assist bringing him to three points in two games. Austin Watson and McLeod were both on the ice for it, with McLeod earning a secondary assist on Girard’s goal.

Filip Forsberg and P.K. Subban each had a goal an assist bring them both to six points in four games.
