Preds first line helps lead team to new franchise record

The Nashville Predators once again made history in their 5-3 victory over the San Jose Sharks. Nashville moved to 111 points setting a new franchise record. The previous record was held by the 2006-07 team at 110 points. The magic number for the Predators to clinch both the Central Division and the top seed in the Western Conference now stands at four.

Nashville’s first line of Ryan Johansen, Filip Forsberg and Viktor Arvidsson accounted for six points on the night. Viktor Arvidsson brought his point total to 60 points, giving him back-to-back 60 point seasons.

Juuse Saros faced 42 shots and stopped 39 of them. 24 of those shots came in the third period.

Hear from Johansen, Forsberg, Arvidsson and Saros in the post game video.
