Tuesday night saw plenty of goals in Nashville’s 6-4 loss to the Winnipeg Jets. After a majority of the first period was sluggish for the Predators, they potted two goals in less than 30 seconds to close it out and take a 2-1 lead into the second. This began a series of back and forth goals between the two teams with Nashville trailing 4-3 entering the third period. Yannick Weber brought the score back to a tie at 4-4 just 30 seconds into the final period, but the Jets scored twice, once on an empty net, with less than two minutes remaining to seal the victory.
Filip Forsberg continued his home scoring streak by earning at least one point in all 16 home games this season. He’s the only player in the league with that streak. Both Kevin Fiala and Kyle Turris extended their point streaks to eight games. Hear from Roman Josi, Filip Forsberg and Peter Laviolette in the video above.
Nashville is back in action this Thursday night at home against the Carolina Hurricanes.
