Preds extend win streak to four with comeback win over Coyotes

It took a laser of a shot from defenseman Ryan Ellis to send Thursday night’s game into overtime as the Nashville Predators took on the Arizona Coyotes. Following overtime, the Predators won the game in the shootout by a 3-2 final score. It was a change from the 3-2 overtime loss in Arizona on January 4th.

Following a scoreless first period, the teams exchanged goals late in the second period, followed by Arizona taking the lead midway through the third period. With less than three minutes remaining in regulation, Roman Josi found Ryan Ellis at the point, who laser-beamed it past goaltender Antti Raanta to tie the game at 2-2. Kyle Turris and Craig Smith scored in the shootout to lead the Predators to a 3-2 victory.
