The Nashville Predators fell to the visiting Pittsburgh Penguins 2-1 in the shootout Tuesday night. The game featured multiple back and forth efforts between the two teams before Pittsburgh took a 1-0 lead late in the second period. It wasn’t until there was only about 3:00 minutes remaining in regulation that Ryan Ellis scored the tying goal to force the game to overtime. It was Sidney Crosby that scored in the shootout to give the Penguins the victory.
Overall, it was a positive locker room as they knew they had a solid defensive effort, continuing to build on the previous three victories they earned.
Hear from Ryan Ellis, Rocco Grimaldi, Pekka Rinne and head coach Peter Laviolette.
