Predators trounced by Islanders; Bitetto & Forsberg react

The second game of a back-to-back can often lead to “unique” instances during competition. Saturday night wasn’t any different as the Predators, who won Friday night in Chicago, fell to the New York Islanders by a score of 6-2. Things didn’t get out of hand until the third period when Islanders captain John Tavares notched a natural hat trick, his second hat trick of the week.

Nashville’s goals were tallied by Filip Forsberg, his eighth of the season, and Craig Smith, his third. Forsberg’s eight goals set a franchise record for number of goals scored by a player in the month of October.

Following the game, Filip Forsberg spoke with the media and we caught up with Tony Bitetto. Watch the video above.
