Nashville Predators sign Jake Livingstone to 2-year contract

The Nashville Predators have signed defender Jake Livingstone to a 2-year, 2-way contract worth $775,000 at the NHL level. Livingstone was a coveted undrafted free agent college player after three standout years at Minnesota State University. He signed with the Predators in March and went on to play in five games with the Predators at the end of the season.

Livingstone came to Nashville having won the Central Collegiate Hockey Association’s Defenseman of the Year Award for the second time in a row. Livingstone looked solid in his short time with Nashville at the end of the season. I’ll let Eric tell you about him:

I’ll add one more thing, Livingstone is a big boy, 6’3″ and 205 pounds. Size AND mobility with a scoring touch? This seems like a dream come true at a great price!
