Power play pots two in Preds win over Stars

In order to stay alive in the Western Conference Wild Card race, the Nashville Predators desperately needed a win against the Dallas Stars Thursday night. Two power play goals and a Juuse Saros shutout later, the Predators defeated the Stars 2-0 to move back into a Wild Card spot for now.

Filip Forsberg and Matt Duchene each tallied on the power play, while goaltender Juuse Saros stopped all 33 shots he faced. The game was also the debut of defenseman Korbinian Holzer, who was acquired via a trade that sent Matt Irwin and a future draft pick to Anaheim.
