Nashville Predators On Pace For Best Season In Franchise History

Nashville Predators fans know this season is different than any other. There is a buzz around the team like never before. That got me curious as to where this team ranks compared to teams in years past. Here is look back at where the Nashville Predators have stood after games played on January 9th, throughout their entire history. The Preds have actually played less games, but are averaging more points per game then in their previous, most successful year, the 2005-2006 campaign.

There is a lot of hockey left to play, but fans can be encouraged that on this January 9th, 2015, the Predators are sitting atop the NHL standings. Plus the team has players and coaches leading the race for Vezina, Calder, and Jack Adams trophies as well as contending for the Norris.
