Tennessee’s only junior hockey team – the Nashville Jr. Predators of the NA3HL – will be launching their second season on the road on Saturday, September 12, against the St. Louis Jr. Blues. The defending NA3HL Organization of the Year will make their home debut on Friday, September 25, at 7:00 PM.
On the slate, the Jr. Predators have 22 home games, all at A-Game Sportsplex.
Due to the addition of three franchises in Evansville (IN), Lafayette (LA) and Rochester (MN), as well as the relocation of the Topeka franchise to Atlanta, the reigning South Division champions were realigned into the NA3HL’s Midwest Division.
The Jr. Predators will be looking to return to the Silver Cup with eight games against divisional rivals St. Louis and Peoria with six games against their other divisional rivals Evansville and Cincinnati. In addition, they will be playing both the Atlanta Capitals and Decatur, Alabama’s Point Mallard Ducks in eight separate contests.
Last year, the Jr. Predators were 23-4 against these opponents with all four losses coming to Point Mallard.
The schedule is not completely finalized as there will be showcase games played in Minnesota in December which have yet to be announced.
All home games will be simulcast via Penalty Box Radio (audio only) and FastHockey.
All away games will be broadcast on FastHockey.
