The World Junior Championship tends to always changed the perspective on many prospects for the upcoming draft. This is year isn’t any different as we see Lawson Crouse and Mikko Rantanen make waves into the top five and maintain their positions. Dylan Strome also dropped a few spots last month.
After seeing many of the top 30 play, there’s no doubt that any first round pick will be a gem with high potential to be a star in the NHL. This is a generational draft, so it will be interesting to see how general managers act at the trade deadline regarding early round picks for the 2015 NHL Entry Draft.

ISS Hockey Releases ISS Top 30 For February, Rankings Of Top Prospects For 2015 NHL Draft
Top five ranked players stay the same in the ISS Top 30 February Release. Timo Meier is biggest gainer, rising into ISS Top 30 at #13.
February 04, 2015 [Guelph, ON] ISS Hockey has released its monthly rankings of the top prospects eligible for the 2015 NHL Draft. This month’s rankings include the top 200 skaters, along with the top 15 goaltenders, as evaluated and ranked by ISS Hockey’s worldwide network of scouts.
Below is the ISS Top 30, highlighting the rankings for the top 30 prospects, which are released on the first Wednesday of every month during the hockey season. McDavid (#1), Eichel (#2), Crouse (#3), Hanifin (#4) and Rantanen (#5) maintain the top five rankings in ISS Hockey’s release of its February ISS Top 30. Portland Winterhawks left winger Paul Bittner rises 12 positions to #18, and Saint John Seadogs defenseman Jakub Zboril follows suit to #19. Halifax Mooseheads Swiss player Timo Meier enters the ISS Top 30 at #13, making him the biggest gainer in ISS Hockey February rankings.
