Latest ISS Hockey prospect rankings show McLeod’s stock rising

Our friends at ISS Hockey have released their latest top 30 prospects for the 2016 NHL Entry Draft. Now seen in the top five is Michael McLeod, who our own Steven Ellis wrote about here.

ISS Hockey Releases ISS Top 30 For December, Rankings Of Top Prospects For 2016 NHL Draft

December release of ISS Top 30 shows Michael McLeod rising into Top 5 to join Matthews, Tkachuk, Chychrun and Puljujarvi.

December 02, 2015 [Waterloo, ON] ISS Hockey has released its monthly rankings of the top prospects eligible for the 2016 NHL Draft. This month’s rankings include the top 200 skaters, along with the top 15 goaltenders, as evaluated and ranked by ISS Hockey’s worldwide network of scouts.

Below is the ISS Top 30, highlighting the rankings for the top 30 prospects, which are released on the first Wednesday of every month during the hockey season. Michael McLeod jumps up one position to #5 to join Matthews (#1), Tkachuk (#2), Chychrun (#3), and Puljujarvi (#4) in the Top 5 of ISS Hockey’s release of its December ISS Top 30. Max Jones of the London Knights in the Ontario Hockey League, drops three positions out of the Top 5. On the rise this December is Kieffer Bellows, the left winger rose six positions to #12.

“Michael McLeod does not back down physically”, says ISS Hockey Director of Scouting Dennis MacInnis. “As a player, he’s the one to make plays on rush at top speed, finishes checks and has the ability to make teammates better.”
