ISS Hockey Release Top 30 Prospects For October

ISS Hockey Release Top 30 Prospects For October

Our friends at International Scouting Services have released their Top 30 Prospects for October. While there isn’t much of a surprise for the top two positions (Connor McDavid and Jack Eichel), it’s still interesting to see who rounds out the rest of the list.

Later this fall, we’ll have the opportunity to see a few of these players in action as part of another epic Ontario Hockey League trip. From October 30 through November 2, we’ll be watching five games in four days. That’s right, an OHL double header.

Games to be seen:

Plymouth Whalers at Erie Otters (Connor McDavid, Dylan Strome)

Sault Ste Marie Greyhounds at London Knights (Mitchel Marner)

Sudbury Wolves at Niagara Ice Dogs (Graham Knott)

Barrie Colts at Peterborough Petes (Matthew Spencer)

Belleville Bulls at Oshawa Generals.

Explosive. Dynamic. Dangerous…those are just some of the key indicators our elite ISS scouting staff have labelled on #1 ranked Connor McDavid. McDavid is an impressive skater with tremendous puck skills, these qualities compliment this smart hockey player. ISS #2 ranked Jack Eichel has creativity, skating edges and agility which make him lethal in the offensive rush. Rounding out the ISStop 3 is Boston College defenseman Noah Hanifin, who is a solid defender and a tough go around.

“Connor McDavid has incredible vision and playmaking ability”, says ISS Hockey Director of Scouting Dennis MacInnis. “Having the chance to scout Sidney Crosby at the same age, McDavid is even more impressive, true superstar potential.”

The full monthly ISS Hockey rankings are available within RinkNet, software technology tailored for the general manager, scout, coach, player agent or superfan that wants in-depth information on prospects for the upcoming NHL and CHL drafts.
