In their second to last preseason game, the Nashville Predators fell to the Columbus Blue Jackets in the shootout by a score of 4-3. Scott Hartnell, Kevin Fiala and Matt Irwin tallied the goals for Nashville with Pekka Rinne in net for the entirety of the game.
Defenseman Samuel Girard saw minutes with both Roman Josi and Matt Irwin during the game. Girard even earned time on the penalty kill.
