Justin Bradford asked Nashville Predators head coach John Hynes about prospects flipping the switch when given an opportunity in the NHL compared to in the minors. Hynes has multiples years of experience coaching in junior with the USNTDP as well as the AHL prior to the NHL. With Eeli Tolvanen, he definitely showed signs of putting everything together but didn’t have lights-out numbers in the AHL with Milwaukee, but the switch flipped for him when given the opportunity in the NHL with the Preds. This is Hynes’ explanation for why that may be.
