Last month, the Supreme Court of the United States struck down a federal ban on sports betting, opening the door for states to legalize wagers on sporting events. Delaware has already followed through and started to allow gambling on sports.

So, it’s unclear when sports betting might come to Tennessee and surrounding states, but it could be coming sooner rather than later. Tennessee state representative Brian Kelsey has said he will introduce legislation to legalize sports betting in the state.
