Throughout the season, we’re continuing to feature our good friend Jules Festa with NashvilleFoodTruckJunkie.com. If you need to grab some grub before a game, she can tell you where to go!

Alright Preds fans! After a 4-game road trip ending with a big win in Winnipeg, the Preds are finally home on Friday to face future Hall of Famer, Martin Brodeur, and the New Jersey Devils who are 5-3-2 in their last 10 games and are playing in the 2nd game of a back to back. There will be a couple of trucks out and about for your pre-game shenanigans!
If you head to Marathon Music Works, there will be 2 trucks in the vicinity. One truck, Two Guys In A Lunchbox, will be at Corsair Artisan Taproom & Distillery (https://goo.gl/maps/uGvlQ) and Bacon Nation will be at moe (https://goo.gl/maps/gcniJ). Both trucks are within walking distance of each other and both are only about 1.5 miles from Bridgestone Arena! They will have windows up around 4 PM!
Two Guys In A Lunchbox are making their own artisan breads and creating delicious sandwiches between the slices! Things from the “Ring of Fire” which is fajita chicken, roma tomatoes, Monterey pepper jack cheese on their chili pepper and fiesta artisan bread to the “B.T.C.” which is smoked bacon, roma tomato and cheddar cheese on their bacon cheese artisan bread! Prices are between $6-7 a sandwich. Soup or fries are an additional $3-4 each.
Bacon Nation has an Ultimate BLT with 6 strips of bacon with lettuce, tomato and remoulade. They have the “Tennessee Taco” which is slow roasted ranch chicken, lettuce, tomatoes, sour cream and cheese served in a taco shell MADE OF BACON! They also offer White Chocolate Covered Bacon. I have not yet had a chance to check this truck out, but I’m dying for some reviews and pictures from fans!!!!
Crepe A Diem truck will be a Yazoo Taproom and Brewery located at 910 Division Street (https://goo.gl/maps/wD38x) which is less than a mile away from Bridgestone arena (and basically the distance of walking over the Shelby Bridge from LP Field to the arena). Want Nutella and bananas wrapped a warm and delicious skinny pancake aka crepe? Or how about Andouille sausage, provolone cheese, caramelized onions, and roasted red peppers wrapped in a savory crepe? Well, then stop by Yazoo before the game and visit Crepe A Diem. As a plus, most nights, if you order from the food truck at Yazoo, they give you a $1 off of pints of craft beer!!! Crepe A Diem will also have their window up by 4 PM. (P.S.Sunday is National Crepe Day and Crepe A Diem will be celebration at Elmington Park – https://goo.gl/maps/OSUQ0)
Finally, I’m a crazy person and I crave ice cream in cold weather. And one of the best ice cream trucks in Nashville, Bradley’s Curbside Creamery, is having a Super Sale on Saturdayat Elmington Park – https://goo.gl/maps/OSUQ0! They will not only have ice cream for sale by the scoop, but they will have quarts of their ice cream available for only $5. Their ice cream (IMHO) is better than Jeni’s, Haagan Daz, Ben & Jerry’s, and all of the high end ice creams. You have one taste of their ice cream and you will be sold. Using the best cream and ingredients, this ice cream is a steal for only $5/quart. So if you are planning on having a Super Bowl Super Sunday Ice Cream Social, get to Elmington on Saturday from Noon – 3 PM and stock up! I promise you, you will not be sorry!!!! They even make a sugar free butter pecan that is so completely ridiculous you’ll wonder how it is sugar free!!!!
There are a TON of trucks that will be out this weekend. For recommendations and more locations, tweet me at @FTJ_Julie and I promise to get you to a truck that will make you go “I love food trucks!” I will also have all the weekend locations up on the blog tomorrow morning at NashvilleFoodTruckJunkie.com!
