On Tuesday, the Nashville Predators announced the signing of goaltender Devin Cooley to a two-year entry level contract. Cooley spent the previous three season with the University of Denver. Cooley also spent time in the BCHL, NAHL and USHL. As a California-born player, Cooley got his start with the San Jose Jr Sharks AAA teams.
Cooley spoke with Justin Bradford about signing the contract, the college hockey experience, how he got his start, being from California, game day rituals and a great take on RVH vs VH positioning for goaltenders.
