Fortunato excited to join Preds on the ice for first time since signing

Defenseman Brandon Fortunato signed 2-year entry-level deal with the Nashville Predators back in April. Due to injury, he wasn’t able to participate in Development Camp, but was finally cleared to practice and take part in the practice-only sessions of Rookie Camp.

Fortunato attended Boston University then transferred to Quinnipiac University to finish his college career. He also went through the United States National Team Development Program.

We spoke with him about his excitement to join the Preds organization, hitting the ice for the first time as a member of the team and what his playing style is like on the ice.
