The Nashville Predators got a much-needed win at home Thursday night against the bottom-dweller Colorado Avalanche thanks in part to another Filip Forsberg hat trick.
Forsberg scored twice in the second period and sealed his second hat trick in as many games with an empty net goal.
Ryan Johansen continued to stay hot against Colorado. His two assists on the evening extended his point streak to six games against the Avalanche. Johansen’s two points also gave him eight points in five games against Colorado just this season.
