We were able to tour the site of Ford Ice Center Bellevue this morning. Here’s a video tour of the facility that is slated to open early this fall.
Some notes about the new facility:
- It’s about 30,000 square feet larger than the Antioch building.
- It will be more energy efficient as it will feature solar panels along with electric zambonis complete with laser leveling.
- Lighting will be the exact same LED lights that were recently installed at Bridgestone Arena.
- There will be more locker rooms which are set to house Nashville Jr. Predators Hockey Club teams (recently merged with Thunder AAA).
