Ellis on loss: “I think we deserved every second of that…”

The Nashville Predators lost their first game in regulation since February 17th against the Detroit Red Wings. A 5-2 loss to the Toronto Maple Leafs allowed the Tampa Bay Lightning to tie Nashville with 106 points atop the league standings. The Predators however, still have a game in hand.

For Toronto, it was the first game back for Auston Matthews, who scored his 29th goal of the season. It was also a three-point night for defenseman Morgan Rielly.

On Nashville’s side, Viktor Arvidsson notched his 27th of the season and Scott Hartnell picked up a late goal in the third for his 13th of the season.
