Defenseman Ryan Ellis continued his stellar play this season as he potted two goals in Nashville’s 3-1 win over the Arizona Coyotes Monday night. On both of Ellis’ goals, forward Craig Smith, who has struggled to put pucks in the net, tallied the primary assist. Overall, it was a fairly complete game from the Nashville Predators, who are in a back-and-forth battle with the St. Louis Blue for third place in the Central Division. With the victory, the Predators moved back into the third spot, dropping the Blues back into the Wild Card position.
