Only 10 days after returning from a knee injury suffered early in the season, Cody Glass finds himself on injured reserve again.
The Nashville Predators made the announcement today, saying Glass suffered an “upper body” injury and is now “week to week.”
The injury seemed to occur at the 2:20 mark of the 3rd period in last night’s thrilling come-from-behind victory against the Avalanche. Glass can be seen colliding with an Avs defender, then immediately skating to the bench, favoring his right shoulder.
You really hate this for Cody Glass, who has had more than his fair share of injuries so far. He played a solid game against Colorado, and even had his first assist of the season on Filip Forsberg’s first goal.
But now, with Tommy Novak also out for several more weeks, the Nashville Predators will need to dig deep for even more depth down the middle. Don’t be surprised if you see a forward called up from Milwaukee to substitute for the two missing centers in Nashville.
