Officially, the University of Alabama in Huntsville Chargers recorded a 4-4 tie against the Alaska Anchorage Seawolves. For WCHA standings, unfortunately, the Chargers fell 5-4 in the shootout.
The Chargers entered the third period trailing 4-2, but scored two unanswered goals to force the game into overtime and then double overtime, eventually leading to the shootout.
Defenseman Dayne Finnson scored his first career goal to tie the game on the power play in the third. Christian Rajic had a big night, recording a goal and two assists.
