Buffalo takes advantage of major power play, beats Nashville 7-4

The Nashville Predators were extremely unhappy about their effort in the 7-4 loss to the Buffalo Sabres. Buffalo noted five goals in the second period. Three of them came on the power play during a five-minute major to Scott Hartnell, who was also served a game misconduct for boarding. In the game, Jack Eichel had five assists and Sam Reinhart tallied a hat trick.

Saturday night also served as the debut for 2017 first round pick Eeli Tolvanen. Tolvanen logged 13:34 in ice time, including 1:17 on the power play.
