Audio Report: Preds blow two-goal lead, fall 5-4 to San Jose

The Nashville Predators blew a two-goal lead in the third period, falling 5-4 to the San Jose Sharks Tuesday night at Bridgestone Arena. Two goals by Viktor Arvidsson, plus goals from Filip Forsberg and Craig Smith weren’t enough to hold off a San Jose comeback. Juuse Saros made consecutive starts for the first time in his career, stopping 27 of the 32 shots he faced.

My post-game story includes audio from the locker room with Ryan Johansen, Viktor Arvidsson and Peter Laviolette.

Michael got his first taste of covering the Preds while interning at the Nashville Post under David Boclair. After graduating from MTSU with a Master's degree in sport management, Michael began a full-time career as a sports journalist. At his day job, he is a sports editor and graphic designer for Main Street Media. He does a lot of work with high school sports in Murfreesboro and has covered the Preds for the last five years.
