A night of firsts and career highs in Preds 6-4 win over Devils

Prior to the game, the storyline was P.K. Subban’s return to Nashville Saturday night. Once the tribute video was over, things shifted to big nights for other Nashville Predators. In the 6-4 win over the New Jersey Devils, Daniel Carr scored his first goal as a member of the organization. Yakov Trenin, in his second NHL call-up, tallied his first career NHL goal. Rocco Grimaldi set a new career high with his goal and assist in the win. Grimaldi’s goal, by the way, was scored on the breakaway after he poke-checked it away from Subban at the blue line.

Hear from Yakov Trenin, Rocco Grimaldi and head coach Peter Laviolette in the Chris Robinette, Financial Planner post game report.
