Preds earn 9 of 10 points ahead of holiday break

The Nashville Predators are hot right now. Following a road trip where they earned seven out of a possible eight points, they continued the streak and defeated the Arizona Coyotes 3-2 at home Monday night. With the win, the Predators are creeping back up the standings, just a couple points out of a Wild Card spot with games in hand on every team ahead of them.

Roman Josi remained hot, notching a goal and an assist. Josi is on a five-game point streak, earning nine points in those games.

Colin Blackwell, in his sixth game with the club this season and 12th NHL game overall, earned his first point with an assist on Roman Josi’s goal.

Filip Forsberg and Roman Josi are now tied at 14 for the goal-scoring lead on the team, and Viktor Arvidsson also scored his first goal since returning from injury.
