Laviolette: They were faster than us. They wanted it more.

Nashville’s loss on Tuesday night was a close one where they fired almost everything they could and just couldn’t score. Thursday night’s 3-0 loss to the Arizona Coyotes should be cause for some concern.

The Predators were off the entire night and couldn’t muster long stints of possession in the offensive zone. Head coach Peter Laviolette said that Arizona was faster and wanted it more than Nashville. It was an ugly game for the Nashville Predators where they racked up 24 penalty minutes. It was also another game where special teams made a difference. The Predators had two power play opportunities where they did not score. Arizona had five power play opportunities and registered one power play goal in the game.

Post game reaction from Peter Laviolette, Mattias Ekholm, Colton Sissons and Roman Josi.
