Almost halfway through the season, the Preds will need a miracle to make the playoffs. Trade rumors abound Forsberg despite assurances from David Poile the franchise forward is not going to be traded. It’s time for work to be done before the trade deadline though, as the Poile needs to accept this team is mediocre at best.

With injuries mounting, the youth movement is getting a chance to shine. The one good thing this season has finally brought us is Eeli Tolvanen. The Finnish wonder is making his worth known on the power play and showing he was worth the wait.
