We’re looking to add to our team! Penalty Box Radio is growing and expanding coverage and we want you to be a part of it. If writing is a passion of yours and you love hockey, then we hope you apply to join the team.
Current coverage needs:
- Ontario Hockey League
- Western Hockey League
- Quebec Major Junior Hockey League
- College Hockey
- USHL
- NAHL
- NA3HL
In some cases, we may be able to assist in gaining media credentials for certain teams.
About the position: Coverage for the site will need to be done in a professional manner. We are an online news magazine that prides itself in quality coverage. It’s not about quantity or click bait. We want to help you build your portfolio and have fun while you’re at it. This site is about informing our readers, not dividing them. PBR is an independent blog. One other site is part of the PBR Network: Firehouse Hockey.

- These are unpaid positions.
- If you can use writing as internship, we’d be more than happy to submit paperwork if you provide it.
- Your posts will be pushed via our various social media channels.
- Preferable that you are in an area where the possibility of in-person interviews would be possible.
- Quality over quantity. Period.
