The Nashville Predators scored all the goals they needed for their 3-1 victory over the Winnipeg Jets in the first nine minutes of regulation. Kevin Fiala potted his 22nd of the year less than three minutes in, then Austin Watson and Viktor Arvidsson notched shorthanded goals just 34 seconds apart.

With the win, the Predators grew their lead in the Central Division to eight points, including a game in hand on Winnipeg. Nashville also moved to 100 points on the season and into first place in the NHL.
