It was a busy day around the NHL as the trade deadline passed at 2pm CST. We kick off the show looking at the only deadline acquisition for the Nashville Predators, P.A. Parenteau, who was traded from the New Jersey Devils for the 6th round draft pick. Justin also goes on another rant about ridiculous trade rumors and proposals.

Next, Jon Lane of joins us to take a look at the league overall following some of the madness of the NHL trade deadline from Kevin Shattenkirk, to Ben Bishop and the Mark Streit three-team trade. (11:00)

We then preview the upcoming schedule for the Predators and take a look at how it will be a big test for their playoff seeding. (22:45)

We close the show by welcoming Anya Battaglino. Anya is a member of the NWHL’s Connecticut Whale and also the director of the NWHLPA. She gives us a great look at the league’s growth, the future of it and how much it means to be a professional hockey player. (34:10)
