Eleven Nashville Predators recorded points, with six of them registering two-points in their 6-5 victory over the Washington Capitals. Matt Duchene continued his hot streak to start his career in Nashville by picking up his first goal and registering another assist, bringing him to seven on the young season. Filip Forsberg notched a goal in his fourth straight game, making it four goals in four games. Ryan Johansen potted two including one on the power play.

The Predators either trailed or were even with the Capitals for most of the game until Mattias Ekholm gave them a one-goal lead with 4:40 left in regulation. Prior to Ekholm’s goal, Nashville had tied the game four times only to have Washington retake the lead.
