Four South Eastern Collegiate Hockey Conference teams have earned births to the American Collegiate Hockey Association Division 3 South Regionals in Irmo, South Carolina on the 21-22 of February. Alabama, South Carolina, and Florida finished third, fourth, and fifth, respectively in the final regional rankings. The Ole Miss Rebels finished eighth.

The top two teams receive automatic bids to the ACAH Nationals in Coral Springs, Florida March 11-15. The other eight teams play for the final two bids.  The four winning teams from the opening round are re-seeded to determine the Championship Round matchups. The highest remaining seed will play the lowest remaining seed in one championship game and the other two teams will play in the other championship game.

ACHA South Regional Schedule

Florida (19-3) will take on Ole Miss (15-8) in the opening round of the Regionals at 2:00 pm ET on Friday, February 21st. This will be the first time that the Gators and the Rebels have played this season.

Alabama (15-9) will play Liberty University (16-4) from the Blue Ridge Hockey Conference at 5:00 pm ET on Friday.

South Carolina (20-8) will play Christopher Newport University (23-8) at 8:00 pm. The Gamecocks have played the Captains twice in the regular season. USC lost to CNU in both September games.


Arkansas Locks Bid to Nationals


The Arkansas Razorbacks finished in first place in the ACHA D3 Pacific with a 25-7 record. They receive an automatic bid to the Nationals in March. The Razorbacks are top seed in Pool D in Coral Springs and could face a SECHC foe during a semifinal matchup.
